In the superb collection of the Museum of Fine Arts; now it can be in yours too! Tea firing (or heating) deactivates the enzymes responsible for wilt & oxidation of tea leaves. $15.00 jfc NEW / NEU / NOV

"APPROACHING HAIRPIN TURN ON MOHAWK TRAIL" unused hand-colored (and, hence, unique) Collotype postcard, very light toning on back, good edges. Surprisingly hard to find; because it does not show the turn itself not many were printed. $3.75 cm(m)h

"Brandy Pond Through The Pines, Naples, Maine" sepia-tone Collotype, circa 1915, unused, toned back especially around the edges, front is fresh. $2.50 mc NEW / NEU / NOV

"BRIDGE OF FLOWERS, SHELBURNE FALLS, MOHAWK TRAIL." Collotype postcard mailed 1940 to Ohio, back paper browning evenly with age, just a little edge wear most evident from the back. Interesting message on back explains the colorful scene. $3.50 mcbf

SETH WARNER MONUMENT AND HODGE MEMORIAL LIBRARY, ROXBURY, CONN." hand-colored (and, hence, unique) Collotype postcard published for Burton Hodge, mailed in the 1940's, several raindrop ink smears on back, stamp folded over the top edge with noticeable wear nearby. Warner was a Revolutionary War officer with brigade & regimental responsibilities having several important battles to his credit. Surprisingly hard to find. $8.00 c(r)chl
