"4th July Greetings" man swinging flag while another shoots into the air, within a border of stars & firecrackers, extensively embossed post card mailed 1910 from Cedarville to Miss Verna Geiger in Kenton Ohio, mild corner & edge wear, 2 short stress marks from the top center, cut at the printers off a bit--a little bit of the bottom is at the top. $9.00 ff
"A. M. A. BADEN 4 July 1911" real photo postcard showing a large group of men & women with American flags, mailed to a doctor in Berlin, stamp removed, minor corner wear & rounding. Presumably the American Medical Association. $20.00

"Bird's Eye View, N. C. R., Dayton" with a golden-colored metallic airship add-on, mailed JUL 5 1914 from Dayton Ohio to Miss M. Zula Swartz in New Bloomfield Pennsylvania, upper corner crease in the sky only. Hospitalized sender wrote in part 'Orville Wright just circled the city in his biplane. Lots of noise & pretty fireworks loving it.' apparently describing the just-passed Fourth of July celebration. $20.00 ia(p)fo

"HENRY NEVER MADE A LADY OUT OF THIS LIZZIE / HAWLEY'S TAVERN, 4TH OF JULY SUMMIT" where Henry refers to Henry Ford, Lizzie refers to the Model T Ford (often called the Tin Lizzie); sepia-tone real photo postcard mailed 1928 from Springdale Washington, a little wear on one bottom corner, slight curl to the paper. The summit is on the border of Montana & Idaho. Rare. "Sailors Parade / At Honolulu, Hawaiian Islands, July 1908" postcard with very late usage at Holualoa Hawaii, noticeable corner wear, tiny color lifts from stamp perforations near the upper left front corner, several small but conspicuous scrapes near the center front, very lightly toned back. The sailors carry the flag of the Virginia-class battleship USS Georgia, part of the Great White Fleet, and the occasion was undoubtedly the Fourth of July. As is. $2.75 h(h)s(m)f

McLearn Mercantile Company, and a store selling 'JEWELRY, STATIONERY & POSTCARDS'; unused sepia-tone postcard, made in Germany & published by Peerless Jewelry Company, numbered 668 on the back, small album adherence on back, good edges. The address is in the 8th arronidissement of Paris, near the Champs-Élysées. Ambassador David K. E. Bruce was the US Ambassador to France May 1949 - March 1952. $2.75 ff(p)
