"15 HAITI-MILOT -- Ruines du Château de Sans-Souci / et la Chapelle restaurée / Ruins of San-Souci Palace and the Chapel resered(sic)" color, mailed to New York, corner with stamp creased multiply by clumsy attempt to remove stamp, small spot on back obscures nothing. King Henri Christoph build the palace referred to circa 1804. The Knights of Malta have been active in development of this rural area. $5.00 h*
"EXPOSITION INTERNATIONALE / PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI" real photo showing a few pedestrians passing a building with bunting at all its windows, mailed there to Massachusetts, mild corner & edge wear. $5.00 h%

"Goâve, Haiti" with a crowded outdoor market scene, including a hat vendor prominently in the foreground, well done home-made (and, hence, unique) postcard mailed 1966 at Polk Pennsylvania, good edges. It is not clear whether this is Petit-Goâve or Grand-Goave, but there is enough background so that someone might be able to figure it out. $2.50 h
"HH2LD" Port-au-Prince QSL card with hobby-related graphics, used 1957 by operator Louis Decatrel (ex HP1EH), trivial wear at one bottom corner. $1.75 h

"HH2PK" Port-au-Prince QSL card including an image of the Haitian flag, used 1992 by operator Patrick Cardozo, minor wear to one upper corner, otherwise fresh. Interesting Post-it™ note on back comments that International Reply Coupons are useless in Haiti. The current flag is shown correctly, not the one used from 1964 - 1986 under Papa Doc Duvalier. $2.50 hf-h
"M/S BENNY at Port-au-Prince" unused Kodak real photo postcard, tiny corner crease not into image, 2 small light smudges on back, front toning is uneven. Very little information is available about the ship; what we found was in Danish, and it implied she sailed the West Indies. Rare in any event. $10.00 h
"NAVASSA ISLAND / JANUARY 1992 DX-PEDITION / KP1" Lulu Bay shortwave (14 MHz) QSL viewcard used 1992 by Randy (N0TG) one of the operators pictured on the front . To give an idea of how rare this view of the uninhabited island is, consider that "the landing is accomplished by climbing a wire rope ladder that dangles about 40 feet from a cantilevered catwalk over the ocean." The island is a nature reserve administered by the United States Fish & Wildlife Service, but Haiti still claims sovereignty since 1801. Shown. $7.50 he. Same but the sending operator is Will (AA4NC). $7.50 heu

"NAVASSA ISLAND / KC4AF" DX expedition card of the Ohio Valley Amateur Radio Association, attractive paddle wheeler boat in the front background, used 1958. The island is a nature reserve administered by the United States Fish & Wildlife Service, but Haiti still claims sovereignty since 1801. $3.75 heu
"Port-au-Prince. Haďti" showing a steam-hauled tramway with two passenger cars, pedestrians nearby & another tram heading away in the distance; black & white carte postale mailed 30 January 1911 to Michigan, stamp removed carefully, both sides toned, lower corner is crease twice but neither is into the image. The railcar at the left was constructed of automobile parts; the cars it pulled were holdovers from the Compagnie des Chemins de Fer de Port-au-Prince (which last ran in 1888). This postcard modifies the information currently in Wikipedia, which had this tram service operating from 1912 - 1932, not from 1911. Decidedly rare. SALE IN PROGRESS hs
"Port of Prince / Haiti" Cyko real photo with writing on back for caption, circa 1910-1915 judging by oxidation, one corner worn. $3.75 *
"Street Car System / Port-au-Prince Haiti // By Raymond U.S.M.C.-15. // B2-5" showing a 2-car train loaded with passengers; unused sepia-tone real photo post card, rounded corners, 3 small corner creases. The US Marine Corps in 1914, to quell civil unrest; they stayed until 1934. Sold but front side still available for scholarly study & research as an enlarged (about 771% of original print area) & enhanced 200-dpi scan in .jpg format. $2.00 m(m)hs
