"DER RHEIN / Rüdesheim" with a panoramic view of Rüdesheim am Rhein; circa-1914 post card from Ludwig Feist in Mainz, writing on back spells out the name of the river in English, tiny upper corner bend, trivial wear at bottom corners. $2.00 h

"Gruss aus Darmstadt" multiview Postkarte with 5 scenes--Johannis-Kirche, Krieger-Denkmal, Hoftheater, etc.; undivided back with very late usage at Hesston Kansas, small upper left corner crease, upper right corner creased twice. $4.00 hg

"Gruss aus Solms-Laubach" multiview with 3 panels in monochromatic dark green & red captions, including Fridericianum & Friedrich Graf zu Solms-Laubach, postcard mailed 1904 from Laubach Hessen to England, some addressee information marked off both sides (back is ugly), edge wear, small bottom corner crease. $3.00 ghm
"Gruss aus Villmar a. Lahn" in Hessen, multiview post card on yellowing paper with 4 scenes--Pfarrhaus, statue of Konrad I & 2 panoramas, numbered 464 on back, unused. Postcard sold. Still available for scholarly study & research as an enlarged (almost 2x original postcard area) 100-dpi scan in .jpg or .tif format. $1.50 hgm
"Gruss aus Wiesbaden / Hans Rodius / Kgl. Schauspieler." Postkarte showing the Hessian actor, circa 1898, from a photo by L. W. Kurtz, faint album impressions at the corners, short internal crease & long internal crease in the message area. The latter has a short tear at the beginning edge, but it closes well & the card is still attractive. Rare. Sold but still available for scholarly study & research as an enlarged (about 771% of original print area) & enhanced 200-dpi scan in .jpg or .tif format. $2.00 gnhpt
