Hedges in Marion Ohio, slightly taller than regular size, minor corner wear, small smudge of cancel ink on back obscures nothing. "Compliments of / Peck's Flower Store / 442 Summit St., Toledo" store interior in black & white, framed by green, ad on back, fresh both sides. This shop, owned by S. N. Peck, was mentioned in a 1910 American Florist after it hosted a meeting the Toledo Florists Club (which it helped to organize). Any paper memorabilia from Peck's is scarce & hard to find. $13.00 fgoi

MARKET ST., AKRON, OHIO" sepia-tone advertising card mailed OCT 10 1912 at East Akron Station, high-quality printing that we at first mistook for real photo, slightly taller than a regular-size card, a lot of edge wear especially at the top, typed advertising in the message area. "Geigenbauwerkstätte in Mittenwald. Echt Foto 72 Schöpfer der Oktavgeige" showing the old violin maker Johann Reiter at work in his Bavarian factory, real photo postcard with interesting composition & exemplary contrast, deckled edges as issued. The instrument name is sometimes seen as Oktav-Geige, and very few were ever made. It is shaped like a cello, but is the size of a 17" viola, with a narrow chinrest, and it can be played with a cello or viola bow. Unused sepia-tone Azo (triangles all up) real photo with exemplary composition & contrasts, showing the interior of an automotive supply shop with an very old motorcycle on display, back shelves filled with Eveready batteries, Half Inch grease & motor oil cans; occupants oozing attitude. The name between the young lady and the steering column is not legible under high magnification; it has stumped the personnel of 2 noted motorcycle museums. The long footboard is reminiscent of a 1913 Scott. This is the oldest photograph we could find of a woman seated on a motorcycle.
