ALASKAN COVERS

SKAGWAY. "WHITE CURRANTS GROWN BY / CHAS. WALKER, SKAGWAY, ALASKA // P. E. KERN, / SKAGWAY & / VALDEZ, / ALASKA // Hand-colored" postcard mailed JAN 24 1908 (clear & complete VALDEZ territorial cancel ties 1-c Franklin stamp) to Allegheny Pennsylvania, light album toning, minor corner rounding. Rare two different ways: (1) All hand-colored postcards are unique--if you find two they cannot possibly be identical; (2) You will not find two, just this one: no one else is showing this, offering this, or exhibiting this. There is a non-hand-colored version of this card that is, therefore, not as nice; still we have only seen that version once in 30 years of dealing. $11.00 a(s)fg(w)-a PRICE REDUCED RECENTLY
