Four unused circa-1911 divided back postcards showing interior rooms of The House of Edison Light, located at 807 Main Street, corner of Bacon Street: the electric dining room, the electric bedroom, the electric kitchen & the electric library. The dining room back continues: 'Expert attendants will answer all your inquiries and show you the latest practical things for electric housekeeping. Take your friends there for an afternoon or evening. Open every business day 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.' Established by the Edison Electric Illuminating Company of Boston, after their first such display at Newton Centre (in December 1910) garnered so much attention.
