Back full of additional information: won first premium at Centennial Exposition, offices in 3 other cities, all work warranted, etc. It could hardly be more interesting & it could hardly be more rare! When we visited the internet, no one was offering any paper memorabilia from this association, nor had anyone done so in the past. $20.00 dgo(c)

"The Moonshiners" real photo postcards picturing two tents (one with indicated caption in banner), some men, a dog & a flag. One mailed Sep 1917 at Chillicothe Ohio has a little edge wear & message stating there were 15,000 there. The other an unmailed CYKO, with album marks on back. What these show are the tents of some of the 15,000 workers (not soldiers, soldier trainees were not allowed to bring pets) who arrived there to build Camp Sherman for training World War I soldiers. The first of more than 120,000 men trained there left for Europe later, in June 1918. Obviously unique. Sold but still available for scholarly study & research as an enlarged (about 771% of original print area) & enhanced 200-dpi scan in .jpg or .tif format. $2.00 for either front scan; $3.75 for both.

Withers & Van Devender (Parkersburg West Virginia) for logs towed from Guyan to Pomeroy Ohio & Twelve Pole West Virginia to Pomeroy & another trip from Point Pleasant. Illustrated billhead shows the steamer Catherine Davis underway. We could not find paper memorabilia of any kind offered for this towing company or for the ship when we searched the Internet. Edges a bit rough, and a little dark toning from contact with acidic papers, folded twice to fit within an envelope. (Teas, Coffees, Cigars & Extracts) salesman's advertising postcard printed in Germany, published by Kraemer Art Company, mailed DEC 3 1908 to P. H. Reed in London Ohio, some cancel ink shows in the front sky, minor corner & edge wear. Later the object of FDA  & US Department of Agriculture scrutiny, a seizure of their peach extract occurred in 1910 due to 'adulteration and misbranding', to which they plead guilty & were fined. N. 1835/1), mailed at Circleville circa 1910 to Mr. Don Eli in Galion Ohio, lightly toned both sides, trivial corner wear. This historic tree succumbed to Dutch Elm Disease & storm damage in 1964.
