Feller, druggist in Leesburg Ohio on the back, 32 pages with housekeeping tips for women accented in red, plus covers in color, 1" tear on back cover, several minor faults. Fancy "Edw. Broeckner Druggist" Wagon, $1000 Day at Dyersville Iowa, 1919 real photo post card, a little low on contrast, but the detail sure is there! With the glass, we see a man in blackface, a hobo, a clown, a cowboy... Stamp removed clumsily from the back, causing some paper separation that did not go through to the front. The lower right corner is creased (small). In the area of the window at the upper left are 3 about 1-inch-long paper cracks, possibly caused by the stamp removal. $30.00 (ipg)

Hoover to publicize the availability of Prof E. N. Horsford (Rumford Professor at Harvard, Cambridge, Massachusetts) at his establishment, more details on back, back has a scrape that has been restored (for readability, but not to deceive), back paper browning with age, front is fine. $5.00 amm(c)c(h)gpo

The building itself was built in 1902 to house a drugstore (left) next to the MM Barber Shop (right), as we can see from the stonework overhead. "Souvenir Silhouette Post Card / FROM / BURKITT'S DRUG STORE / S. E. COR. FIFTH AND MAIN STS. / DAYTON, OHIO / Try a 10c. special from our FOUNTAIN / WE ARE AGENTS FOR HUYLER'S CANDIES" with a beautiful silhouette of a woman wearing a flowery hat, some letters obsured by it so we filled in what is shown here in italics. Divided back postcard, unused, toning both sides, small crease in one of the hat projections. Apparently the pharmacist hired a quality artist to cut these quickly for prominent customers, and then pasted the work onto their advertising postcards. Rare: we could find nothing like it on the Internet -- displayed or offered. The quality of the art is so realistic that you would swear you could extrapolate some of her facial features. $35.00 spwgoa
