"1914 A Happy Moment U.S.S. DELAWARE" several sailors relax by playing cards & listening to a phonograph; unused Azo (triangles up) real photo postcard, aminor corner rounding. This dreadnought battleship served in the Atlantic Fleet throughout World War I. In 1914 the USS Delaware was part of the intervention at Veracruz Mexico to protect American citizens. Probably one of a kind: handwritten caption, no photographer or publisher credit. Their excellent / qualities are known the world over. / ..." mechanical advertising card with numbered rotating wheels (for use in a game of chance?), rounded corners as issued, works fine. Cards were made by the United States Printing Company in Cincinnati Ohio. About 3-1/2" high.
