Köln, Heinzelmännchen - Brunnen" showing pedestrians admiring a statue & fountain commemorating the tailor's wife who (in a fairy tale) made all the town's citizens do their own work, near the front of the Hotel Reichshof; black & white post card that was separated neatly from a booklet, very late usage at Millersville Ohio, light fingerprint toning on the back. $2.75 pf

"Evangelische Akademie Loccum Haupteingang" showing main entrance to the Protestant academy for prospective ministers, with 4 automobiles (3 are Volkswagens) parked outside, real photo postcard mailed (3 stamps tied by fancy cancel depicting a church) to Ohio, small corner crease not into the image, small light spot of toning at edge of both sides, another small spot of toning affects only the back. Loccum is presently in the state of Hanover. $2.50 phr

"GOSLAR A. HARZ. Marktplatz m. Rathaus" including a few pedestrians in the marketplace near city hall; black & white Postkarte mailed there -8.12.11 (crisp cancel ties 10-pfg. Germania stamp) to Washington D.C., one bottom corner multiply creased, the other bottom corner with 2 small creases, minor corner wear, speckles of cancel ink on front. This World Heritage site is currently located in the state of Lower Saxony. $1.75 p

"Gruss von der Victorshöhe bei Mirchau. / (Kassubische Schweiz, Kreis Carthaus.)" wonderful art showing couple strolling through the highlands overlooking the Mirachowo, Verlag von Otto Ehlers, Postkarte mailed there June 1899 to Berlin (5-pf German stamp tied by clear cancel, clear receiving mark), corner & edge wear. Carthaus is now Kartuzy in the western part of Prussia.
