"AD35DN  DL1SDN / KH8  3D2DS" QSL viewcard depicting Rotuma Island 1992, fresh, exceptionally interesting. It was from an expedition to American Samoa. QSL viewcard sold. Still available for scholarly study & research as a full-size 72-dpi scan in .jpg or .tif format. $1.50 fa




"'Alice in Wanderland' / TUTUILA, SAMOA" unused sepia-tone Azo real photo (triangles both ways) postcard, toned back, small tear that closes to be imperceptible in the trees. $4.25 (at)

"American Samoa 1931" showing a conical thatched hut with men seated around it, and more people inside seated on its wall; sepia-tone photo on ribbed paper with the image pasted onto postcard stock & hand-captioned, imprint of Merl La Voy embossed at the lower right corner, corner of the scene & the card stock both creased. The governorship of American Samoa changed 3 times in 1931, and this could be one of those events. The Smithsonian has a La Voy photograph in its Anthropological Archives. Sold but front side still available for scholarly study & research as an enlarged (about 771% of original print area) & enhanced 200-dpi scan in .jpg format. $2.00 ap
