"9Q5DX" shortwave (21 MHz) QSL card used 1990 by Dick Kwiatkowski at the American Embassy in Kinshasa, verified by KQ3S, excellent condition. $3.25 zq
"9Q5DX" shortwave (21 MHz) QSL postcard used 1988 by Dick Kwiatkowski at the American Embassy in Kinshasa, trivial wear at 2 corners. $3.50 zq
"9Q5UN" shortwave (21 MHz) QSL card used 1988 by Heikki Keto, excellent condition, both sides attractive. Keto was affiliated with the United Nations (hence the UN in the call sign). He was second in command at the UNHCR in Malawi in 1994, and in 1996 he was the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva Switzerland. $5.00 zqu
ORAS. Continental black-and-white Ilford real photo post card showing its AW650 Argosy (9Q-COA) parked, good composition, contrast a bit low, pertinent identification information written on back. Formerly Shackleton Aviation Services & Otrang Range Air Services, it was never delivered to Zaire, and was scrapped in 1981 in England. Exquisitely rare. $10.00 az*

"9J2AL" shortwave (28.045 MHz) Lusaka QSL postcard used 1988, red & blue lettering, a couple tiny spots on the back, otherwise excellent condition. The AL in the call sign was also the name of the operator, statistician Alan R. Goozner. $3.00 z

ZAMBIA AIR. "SWISSAIR / Douglas DC-8-62" with aircraft HB-IDF over the ocean; unused continental postcard from Photoglob, printed in Switzerland, fresh appearance, good edges. Printed with too much yellow, making the red color more orange. We doubt the airline was pleased. Later flew for Capitol Air, Nationair & Zambia Air. $2.50 a(j)sz
ZAMBIA FLYING DOCTOR SERVICE. Continental black & white photo of its Britten Norman Islander (9j-ACF) parked, good composition & focus, contrast is low. Rare. On 27 March 1975 this aircraft crashed at Kalengwa Zambia, but few details are known. $10.00 azdm
ZAMBIAN AIR CARGOES. Continental black & white photograph of its Lockheed L-382 (9J-RBW) parked, good composition & focus, contrast is low. Rare. Note on classification: L-100 is the civilian version of what Lockheed called the L-382; C-130 is the military designation of the same aircraft. We are informed that all 5 Zambian Air Cargoes aircraft were civilian. Necessarily taken in the April 1966 - 1969 timeframe. Later this aircraft served Pacific Western Airlines, when incurring damage at Eureka Northwest Territory. Crash landed with 5 fatalities at Jamba Angola in November 27 1989 while flying weapons & UNITA guerrilla fighters (reportedly for the CIA) as Tepper Aviation N9205T. Sold but front side still available for scholarly study & research as an enlarged (about 771% of original print area) & enhanced 200-dpi scan in .jpg format. $2.00 a(p)zad
